Henry Yamplosky, J.D. | Founder of Living Peace Institute

Henry Yampolsky, J.D. is the founder and president of Living Peace Institute.  Trained as a lawyer, Henry is a peace educator, mediator, social entrepreneur and a pioneer in the field of conscious conflict resolution.  Henry is also the founder of Yampolsky Law, P.C. – Conflict Transformed, a holistic conflict resolution law firm in Trevose, Pennsylvania.  Prior to becoming a full-time peacemaker, Henry served as an associate and a partner with one of the Photo of Henryleading litigation boutique law firms in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  For seven years in a row Henry has been recognized as being among the top lawyers in Pennsylvania, having been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Star.

An International Yoga Alliance Registered Sattva Yoga Instructor (E-RYT 200), trained in Rishikesh, India with the founder of Sattva Yoga, Anand Mehrotra, Henry utilizes the techniques and deep wisdom of Yoga in his conflict resolution, consulting and teaching practices. Henry is a sought-after speaker, facilitator and workshop leader and has presented programs, workshops and trainings around the world.  In November of 2017, Henry was one of the featured speakers/teachers at the 2017 Sattva Summit in Rishikesh, India.  Sattva Summit is a boutique consciousness gathering,  featuring some of the world’s foremost teachers and thought leaders.

Through his affiliation with the New York Peace Institute, Henry serves as a community mediator, restorative justice facilitator and conflict coach.  Henry is also one of the coaches and mentors for the Peace Institute’s Meditation Training and Apprenticeship Program and has taught mediation and conflict de-escalation skills to the members of the New York Police Department, senior UN diplomats and legal practice groups.

Henry holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Studies from the University of Scranton (Magna Cum Laude) and a Juris Doctorate from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia. Having been born in Kiev, Ukraine, he is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian.
